We had such a gorgeous day today posing 9 day old Rudie on day one of the Byron Bay newborn posing and baby business workshop. Just 5lb 16oz he was a bundle of pure perfection!

In 2 weeks time I am holding newborn posing workshops for photographers in Byron Bay and Perth. We need little models under 2 weeks of age to photograph, if you are due soon and would like free digital images (full size edited files) of your little bundle and would like to join us for a couple of hours, please get in touch with me to find out more information. The Byron Bay workshop is perfect for those on the Gold Coast who don't mind a short drive, and my Perth workshop will be held at a professional studio in Mount Hawthorne.

Meet baby Piper, Jolie and Fletcher...

I'm looking for new babies under 2 weeks to model for my Melbourne workshop for photographers in 2 weeks time. Day 2 with a great group of photographers learning the art of posing newborns, our sweet baby models were Sophia and Austin, both just a week old. Thank you so much to Sugar & Spice & Everything Nice for our little newborn crown!

It was back to work for me today! Darcy and I have traveled down to Sydney for the first of the 2012 workshops - such fun! Today we had some perfect little guys in to model for us, meet Dion and Billy...

I wanted to share this precious little video my friend Georgia Brizuela made for our baby Darcy. I had planned for Georgia to photograph Darcy's birth but, as luck would have it, Darcy arrived rather quickly right on Georgia's little boy's birthday... right about the time they were celebrating with an afternoon party. Luckily I had coached my husband Justin in how to operate my camera, just in case I needed him to capture the moment. He was able to film the moments immediately after Darcy's water birth and I love how Georgia has worked that footage into the film. She was also able to capture some footage of me in early labour attempting to 'walk Darcy out' along the beach 2 days before her arrival. Then, to have her visit and capture Darcy at 2 weeks old, and the love we all have for her was extra special. Georgia, you rock!

She's here! On February 13th at 3.16pm we welcomed our third baby girl Darcy into the world weighing 9lb 12oz. She made us wait an extra 8 days, but when she decided it was time to arrive, it was a very quick 1 hour 45 minute water birth - so quick our doula and photographer both missed it but it was a fantastic labour all the same. We're settling in at home now with all three girls (her big sisters are quite smitten!) she's just so delightful, I'm relishing my time with her... she's even making me clucky for a fourth!
