Newborn Posing Workshops 
A Little Posers one day newborn posing workshop focuses on teaching you the techniques needed to provide your clients with beautiful images of their new baby using natural light. Little
Posers workshops are CPD accredited by the Australian Institute of
Professional Photography. Full members earn 25 CPD for attending and
receive a 10% discount. Schedule: We
start the day at 9am with a meet and greet, followed by a detailed
instruction on using your camera and lenses, and how to set up your
props and prop choice. At 10.00am our newborn models arrive and you will
see first hand how Lana starts working with the models to create
breathtaking images. You will have the opportunity to ask questions and
photograph each setup. We will cover how to structure your session to
maintain maximum sleepiness, pose the curly, sleepy poses parents adore,
how to create flattering images of newborns with Mum & Dad, and how
to utilise your props to show off your little client without
distracting from the beauty of a newborn.
At around 2pm we
will break for a catered lunch in the studio, this is a great chance to meet your
fellow attendees and ask questions about our setup and posing. During the 2 hour post
processing session, you will see how Lana creates beautiful images for
her clients, and how you too can reduce your processing time to around
an hour for an entire newborn session. A question and answer session
will follow the post processing instruction which is a great opportunity
for you to go over the new techniques you have learned, and any
specific posing, prop or post processing questions you may have. The
workshop will finish at approximately 5pm. A
good knowledge of manual camera settings is assumed, you will need to
bring your camera and a 50mm lens or equivalent to capture your images.  What's included? Each student receives a beautiful workbook featuring Little Posers newborn images, and further instruction covering everything Lana teaches in the workshop - including a blank section to write your notes from the day. Also included is the Little Posers Basic Newborn Action for Photoshop (example to the left) which will make your editing a breeze. Your goodie bag also includes vouchers from some of our preferred vendors. Day 2: baby business workshop where we will cover pricing yourself correctly; making your price lists work for you; what products to offer and recommended vendors; branding your business (each attendee will get one-on-one time to go over their business 'look' with Lana); detailed advice on in-person ordering sessions; marketing - what works and what doesn't; time management; maintaining a filing and session scheduling system. Your workbook also includes an example of all Little Posers marketing materials & email templates for your reference.

Presented by Peter from Living Lens, you will learn the basics in DSLR video operation and editing to allow you to expand the capabilities of your DSLR camera and fully utilise the video function for both business and personal projects. The full day workshop includes tuition on DSLR video settings, stablisation methods, editing structure and workflow. There will also be practical elements to allow you hands on experience and the confidence to complete your own projects from capture to finished video.
