Not such a typical shoot for me, Alex wasn't too interested in the camera... except for the shot on the right which I love - (can you spot me in there?) and being inside got Owen smiling! Tina I hope you enjoy these two cute pics...

Yes, that's my little bubba there! Baby #2 is on it's way, with a rather memorable due date of 31st December this year!  We're very excited to be adding to the family, and I'm really looking forward to having a new subject for many, many newborn photos. (the things we photographers do for a subject ;)

It'll be business as usual in the meantime, I'm hoping to stay active up until at least the Christmas rush is over with sessions (stay tuned for info on Christmas Mini Sessions...) then I will be taking an 8-12 week break over the new year. Of course, there will be updates (and plenty of baby photos) on the blog so make sure you keep updated if you are looking to book something early next year.

So there you have it! If you have a session booked with me in the coming months, don't be surprised if I cluck over your newborn a little more than usual!

Oliver is a whole 1 year old next month! We had some amazing light today to work with and these shots are some of my new all time favourites I think. I love his little BMW that he can scoot around on, and the cutie shot of him on the left is extra special because that's his buddy 'Oliver'.

I was lucky enough to see 6 1/2 month old Miller again today and my has he grown!! I took Miller's newborn shots in December and not only has he grown in size, he's getting pretty handsome too if you ask me. We have so many gorgeous shots from today, I had trouble choosing which ones to put on the blog. 6-7 months is just the perfect age for a shoot, bub is usually sitting well and very smiley, it makes my job very easy!!

It was my baby's first birthday on Friday! Believe it or not, I rarely get time to take photos of Rilka (the poor thing!) so I made sure I took lots on her birthday. Notice my birthday cupcakes? I had grand plans of creating the perfect birthday 'fairy toadstool' cake and I completely bombed! The top of the toadstool squashed the bottom, and ruined hours of work!! Hence, me running down the shops on the morning of her party to grab a few things for cupcakes instead. Oh well, I tried!

Poor lil' Siennah had a cold today - but she still put up with her mum and I changing her outfits, going to different locations and doing our best to get a laugh out of her. We did get some very cute shots - who can go past a nakey bub in cowboy boots toting their Bear?

And I love the colours in these ones - there's the Bear again! So cute.

I think maternity sessions would have to be one of my favourite types of shoots. This little man will be here in just two weeks! (well, as long as he's on time!) I can't wait to meet him & I hope you enjoy your last couple of weeks of pregnancy Lynnelle!
