She was a tough cookie to crack I tell you. Bronwyn had tummy upsets today so sleeping was the last thing on her mind, we worked hard to get her shots and as I snapped the last frame of the shoot, she proceeded to give me a beautiful, big, grin. I couldn't resist posting this set - it lasted just 2 seconds from start to finish but it was enough to make everyone in the room just light up.

Angus was precious with a capital P this morning! So sleepy, we finished his newborn session in no time at all.

Another sweet little girl today and she came in with her 2 big brothers Sam & Max. Zara was a perfect little model this morning, and her brothers weren't too bad themselves!

My gosh, I just about died of cuteness overload while looking through the images from this morning, Isla's expressions are so adorable! Big brother Eden was a ball of energy but we managed to get some really sweet ones of him too.

This gorgeous little guy is a friend's brand new 8 day old addition. He was super awake today, but we fed, and bounced and rocked and waited and I love the shots we captured. AND I'm especially in love with the outfit he arrived in :) (see last image)

In the early hours of this morning, I was blessed to photograph the birth of this little man (so new he doesn't have a name yet!), he arrived in a great hurry, with Mum just making it into the birth suite, almost delivering in the lift, Dad arriving with 5 minutes to spare, and myself and the obstetrician rushing in 10 minutes later. I love my job, what a way to spend a morning :)

Gosh I loved this little girls name! Amira, Arabic for 'Princess' and it suited her perfectly. Amira's Mum and I go way back, friends when we were about 10 or 11, and then she moved away and I hadn't seen her since then. Now she's a mum of 2, just like me, and it was so good to see her and her little family.

These two made my job too easy! We got the cutest shots of them together, Alannah was all smiles and Benji played me some Bob Dylan on his guitar, it was tough deciding which ones to put on the blog.

Something I've had in the works now for a while is a site I'm developing that will be dedicated to natural, easy birth. It's something very close to my heart, as I discovered just how empowering and beautiful birth can be with I used HypnoBirthing with my second baby. Not to say my first birth was bad of course - it was just a very different experience having an epidural and then doing it all by myself the second time around.

There's so much info out there and I'm condensing it into an easy to understand (and pretty - everything I do has to be stylish!) website with beautiful images, real natural birth stories and great articles on how to achieve a drug-free birth. I also have a few women lined up who are going to blog their pregnancies and share their journey's with us!

This is the gorgeous (not so little) baby I photographed last week for his birth day. Giles is now 7 days old and I can't get over how cute his little chin dimple is! Not too impressed with having his photo taken today, we did manage to capture a gorgeous smile and of course some great photos with his big brothers and sister.

Couldn't you just gobble her up? Eva came in for 8 month photos today - I last saw her when she was about 7 days old! She was such a poser and we had a lot of fun with her. Enjoy Kelly, I know you'll be waiting for these!

A very quick sneaky peek for this gorgeous guy's family tonight, it's been a busy day! I love Ethan's blonde hair and that little wisp at the front, divine!

6.5 month old Layla was just the sweetest, quietest little lady today. Her Mum and Dad said she's very reserved when she goes out and about, preferring to just watch and take it all in. She was just a pleasure to have in the studio this morning.

7 day old Frankie and big sister Eliza came into the studio today for Frankie's newborn session. Eliza was so, so well behaved and we have some really cute shots of her with her new sister... kind of makes me sad I can't get my own two girls to behave so well!
