The first shot below would have to be a new favourite, I love how tiny 7 days old Adam is in his Mum's arms.

5 weeks new, but only just due, Penelope decided to make an early entrance to the world and today came in for her newborn session in the studio. She was a lovely way to spend my morning, I love her little pursed lips and expression in the second one. And of course, divine mum & bub shots below...

I have news for all the people on my Sydney waiting lists - I'm opening up the calendar for on-location sessions on Wednesday 22nd, Thursday 23rd and Monday 28th June! And best news of all, these sessions aren't just for newborns, I'll be booking toddlers and families so if you've been waiting for a Little Posers session, and you're in Sydney now is the time to book!

And because I haven't shared a shot of my little munchkins for a while, here they are having a great time messing up my attempts to make the bed... I don't mind so much, I actually caught them both in the same image for once (a rarity believe me!)

It's raining babies here at the moment I swear. I'm working every day this week to photograph these beautiful new little people. Miss Madison was the perfect subject and so easy during her session this morning, I couldn't have asked for more and I'm sure her mummy is going to love her images!

I love seeing my newborn clients grow up and Eli has certainly grown into a little charmer! We had almost finished his baby session in the studio today when after a little drink he got a huge second wind and we continued on. Now, his Mum and Dad will just have the enviable problem of having too many images to choose from :)

Sigh. Perfection isn't he?

Emily's Mum & Dad have been waiting patiently for this post! The reason for my delay - I've been working on one of their images for the national awards a beautiful shot of Emily and her big brother. I'll post it after the awards so for now, the beautiful Emily...

Behind the scenes here at Little Posers it's been all systems go, I've barely had a moment to think! There's been 3 births I've attended in the past 2 weeks (two as a doula who went into labour one day after each other) and lots of newborns in the studio. I'll be working over Easter to make sure all of these beautiful babies are photographed but after that, I'll be taking a short break until 3rd May. My baby sister is getting married in Byron Bay next week and as her bridesmaid I'll be throwing myself into preparations. We have the talented Fiona Andersen flying over from New Zealand to photograph the wedding with the beautiful Jen Stocks as her assistant. I can't wait!

On top of all that, it's photography awards season here and I'm thrilled to announce I received three silver awards at the QLD state Australian Professional Photographer awards - the nationals are on in June and I'm already going crazy choosing prints and spending lots of time with my framer and printer in preparation.

Come May, we have our second batch of newborn posing workshops for photographers (September registrations open now), Sydney sessions in June (for which I have one date left available for booking!) and finally some big news on the horizon... you'll have to wait for that though :)

I was blessed to have been with this gorgeous little bubba's Mum as she worked through her labour in my work as a doula. I was super excited to see her again today for her newborn session.

This gorgeous little man stopped by the studio this morning for his newborn session. He gave me so many smiles - just about one in every pose!

My last newborn before I take a week off over Easter and it was only fitting we photograph Adele in an egg basket. Of course, as regular blog readers would know, I also went slightly crazy over the amount of hair she had, I love a baby with this amount of hair!
