Our Positive Birth classes are designed to be just that – Positive! We’ve taken the best parts of hypnosis for childbirth, yoga and other alternative methods and combined them into one handy course run by a certified birthing instructor.

Discover what’s best for you and your baby, take the fear out of birthing, give yourself back your power to birth as you choose and make educated decisions along with your care providers.

This is a perfect class for both first time and experienced mums in any trimester of your pregnancy and is a great compliment to your hospital’s antenatal classes. Our classes are fun, friendly and allow you to explore all of your options in a relaxed environment with women just like you. Childbirth can be an enriching and life-changing experience. Hypnobirthing® - The Mongan Method

Through self-hypnosis, special breathing, and visualization, HypnoBirthing® teaches you to release all prior programming about birth, how to trust your body and work with it, as well as how to free yourself of harmful emotions that lead to pain-causing fear and unyielding muscles. HypnoBirthing® will teach you the art of using your own natural birthing instincts. With HypnoBirthing®, you will be aware and fully in control, but profoundly relaxed.

Dads Night

Men are expected to step up these days and often be the sole support for the mother in the birth of their child. Many are at a loss as to what their role is and how they can best support their partner. That is why we are running a night just for Dads. 

Come learn how to support, protect and love your partner through the childbirth experience.  This evening workshop is so much more than techniques and support tricks.  Run by Brisbane’s sexual health and conscious relationships specialist Andrew Barnes.

Conscious Birth Yoga Birthshop

This half-day workshop provides an opportunity for couples to enhance awareness of and confidence in pregnancy, labour and birth together.

Understand how to create optimum conditions for birth to be as normal and natural as possible. Through discussion, gentle postures, breath work, vocal toning, meditation, visualisation and massage, couples will cultivate greater relaxation, understanding and enjoyment for childbearing. Calm and flexibility ease the birthing process, reduce pain, and increase the joy of giving birth.

Couples will practice postures together that are both beneficial and enjoyable throughout pregnancy and during labour. Partners feel more connected to both the mother and their unborn baby. The presence and encouragement of a woman’s partner is a powerful aid to labour and delivery. Partners will be supported to understand how to support the birthing mum with confidence and sensitivity. Research shows that this awareness and presence can lessen the requirement for medical interventions.
